The BBS has NOT detected ANSI Color on your End.
You dont need to have a COLOR monitor to have ANSI controls.
BUT, You do need a ANSI driver to enable ANSI and ANSI COLOR.
Edit your CONFIG.SYS and add this line:
DEVICE=C:\DOS\ANSI.SYS
If you HAVE a COLOR monitor, Take advantage of COLOR in the 90's
and enable ANSI on your End with the ANSI driver that comes with
MSDOS. Also, when you set up your Communications Software,
Select ANSI as the type of Emulation (not TTY).
Edit the Config.SYS as listed above and add it in. Then call
back and Discover the world of difference COLOR and ANSI makes.
